Japan IBM Launches "IBM Regional Oracle Talent Development Program" Utilizing Oracle Cloud to Foster Regional IT Talent

IBM Japan, Ltd. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo, President: Akio Yamaguchi, hereinafter: Japan IBM) will launch the "IBM Regional Oracle Talent Development Program" in May 2026, with the aim of fostering co-creation in regional businesses and developing digital talent.

This program will be centered around the Tohoku (Sendai) Regional DX Center, which is one of the bases of the IBM Regional DX Centers and has many personnel with development skills in Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications. It will target working adults and students residing in the region aiming for reskilling, and support them in acquiring practical IT skills to support digital transformation.

Participants will utilize free online learning content provided by Oracle Corporation, focusing on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), which is in high demand as a foundation for enterprise workloads. Through this, Japan IBM aims to stably develop IT engineers with Oracle technology, accelerate digital transformation in regions, and contribute to the revitalization of regional economies through business co-creation.

The "IBM Regional Oracle Talent Development Program" consists of the following three components: ・Access to free learning content related to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure and Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications provided on the digital learning platform "MyLearn".

・Free examination for 3 Oracle Cloud certification exams: Oracle Cloud Infrastructure 2025 Foundations Associate (1Z0-1085-25-JPN) Oracle Cloud Infrastructure 2025 AI Foundations Associate (1Z0-1122-25-JPN) Oracle Fusion AI Agent Studio Foundations Associate - Rel 1 (1Z0-1145-25-JPN)

・Sessions provided by Japan IBM introducing the latest implementation cases of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications.

Furthermore, Japan IBM developers will participate as experts and conduct online sessions incorporating practical use cases in business, thereby supporting participants in improving their understanding and practical skills regarding the learning content.
