"Italia, amore mio!" Transmitting Italian Passion in Tokyo on the Occasion of the 10th Anniversary and the 160th Anniversary of Japan-Italy Friendship Tokyo, June 7, 2026 – "Italia, amore mio! 2026," Japan's largest Italian festival hosted by the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Japan (ICCJ), has successfully concluded. Held over two days, June 6th and 7th, at Roppongi Hills in Tokyo, the event offered a diverse program allowing visitors to experience the charm of Italy through music, food, and lifestyle, drawing a crowd of approximately 40,000 attendees.

A Grand Gathering of "Made in Italy" Brands: A Diverse Program to Experience Italian Appeal This year's 10th anniversary edition held special significance, coinciding with the historic milestone of the 160th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Italy and Japan. The formal relationship between the two countries began with the "Treaty of Amity and Commerce between Italy and Japan" signed on August 25, 1866, followed by deepening exchanges in politics, culture, and economy, evolving into a "Strategic Partnership" in January 2023.

Throughout the two days, the venue showcased the allure of "Made in Italy." The "Parmigiano Reggiano Consortium," known as the King of Italian Cheeses, also participated, offering a space to enjoy the genuine taste of cheese. Furthermore, "Vetrina Toscana," a tourism project for food and wine promoted by the Tuscany Region and the Tuscan Chambers of Commerce Union, was featured. This project is developed in collaboration with the Tuscany Tourism Promotion Agency and Fondazione Sistema Toscana.
