≪Comments from Mr. Atsushi Minakami, Senior Researcher, Living Culture Research Institute, RoomClip Inc.≫
"Learn from Real Examples, Make it Your Own with AI"
AI is now transforming all aspects of society. How about in home building? What stood out this year was the positive attitude towards AI utilization. About 60% expressed interest, with "layout simulation" and "generation of ideal images" ranking high. The former reflects a cautiousness of "not wanting to make mistakes," while the latter reveals an aspiration of "wanting to be like this." Interestingly, on RoomClip, the number of times users search for real examples per person is actually increasing. The more they envision their ideal with AI, the more they likely want to see reference examples. Drawing, then searching, then redrawing. In this way, home building may have begun to enter a new phase of deeper consideration.

On the other hand, approximately 70% of people have not achieved their ideal taste in their current homes, indicating that many consumers have a gap between the living space they envision and reality.
Ichijo Komuten has launched "Naturia," a new product with a Nordic concept, which is popular for its ideal interior taste, nationwide starting July 1, 2026.
"Naturia" proposes four Nordic styles that enjoy the life and design of Northern Europe and its rich scenes, and it is a custom-built house using frame and panel construction, offering high insulation performance through double external and internal insulation, while valuing the gentleness and simplicity of nature.
