New Launch of Voice-Enabled Fleet Management System

ICOM Inc. (Headquarters: Hirano-ku, Osaka; President and CEO: Hiroshi Nakaoka; Tokyo Stock Exchange Prime), a manufacturer of radio communication equipment, launched its voice-enabled fleet management system, ICOM CONNECT CARS, on July 1, 2026.

ICOM CONNECT CARS is a voice-enabled fleet management app compatible with AndroidTM tablets, integrating the AI-powered intercom app ICOM CONNECT with user location display. This product is a joint development by Voitt Co., Ltd., with whom ICOM has a collaborative relationship, and Comforce Inc., a subsidiary of ICOM. Sales will be handled by ICOM Inc.

The app allows for individual/group calls by voice, similar to a radio. In addition to transcribing calls, it enables real-time tracking of user locations on the tablet's Google MapsTM. A PC-exclusive management service (separate option) is also available, offering various features such as route display and creation/sharing of delivery routes.

With a single tablet, drivers can communicate with the office and other drivers while checking delivery routes and paths. This eliminates the need to juggle multiple devices like smartphones, radios, or car navigation systems. ICOM CONNECT CARS supports smooth voice communication and delivery operations, promoting improved operational efficiency in industries such as transportation and logistics.

◆Manage Delivery Operations from the Office with PC-Exclusive Management Service

A management service (ICOM CONNECT MANAGER) is also available to monitor the status of vehicles equipped with ICOM CONNECT CARS via a browser. From office PCs, users can share delivery plans and provide directions to destinations using the route display function.
