Ignition Point Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Takafumi Suemune; hereinafter "Ignition Point") today announces the launch of a factory-specific corporate culture transformation support program aimed at enhancing employee engagement in manufacturing plants. This program is part of "Culture For Growth"※1, which supports the creation of cultures that drive corporate growth, and specifically addresses challenges unique to manufacturing plants. The program provides comprehensive support—from structuring challenges based on on-site understanding, to action design, KPI development, on-site self-sustainability, and even expansion to other facilities.

In recent years, the manufacturing industry has undergone significant changes due to chronic labor shortages, rising recruitment costs, and strong demands for productivity improvement. In particular, while improvements in labor conditions and operational efficiency are progressing in factories, declining employee motivation and lack of trust in the workplace have emerged as key challenges. A proprietary survey※2 conducted by our group in December 2025 of approximately 1,000 factory workers revealed a significant gap in workplace perceptions between managers and frontline employees, with frontline workers expressing stronger dissatisfaction with interpersonal relationships and work styles. This engagement gap constitutes a strategic business issue affecting both productivity and talent retention.

This program goes beyond merely introducing systems or tools, focusing instead on transforming corporate culture to create an environment where factory employees share a common workplace vision and can work proactively.

The program begins by carefully observing factory and regional realities and conducting interviews with factory workers to structure challenges (① Challenge Structuring Based on On-Site Observation). Next, it maps out pathways for behavioral change for both managers and frontline workers (② Dual-Track Journey Design for Managers and Frontline Workers), and designs actions and KPIs that drive engagement improvement (③ Action & KPI Design). Furthermore, it provides operational support to ensure continuous implementation within the site or facility, and supports expansion to other locations (④ Self-Sustainability Support and Multi-Site Expansion). The program’s key differentiator is its ability to deliver all these processes in a seamless, integrated manner.

The development and implementation of this program are being advanced through collaboration with domestic Dentsu Group companies (Dentsu Inc., Dentsu Consulting Inc.).

Going forward, the company will continue to leverage its unique insights, expertise, creativity, and execution capabilities to support the creation of on-site rooted corporate cultures, vibrant organizations, and sustainable growth for employees.
