Ikedagofudo Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Uozu City, Toyama Prefecture; President: Katsuhiko Ikeda), manufacturer and distributor of the anti-itch medication 'Mushi', announces a series of collaborative products with companies across Toyama Prefecture to commemorate the 100th anniversary of 'Mushi' in 2026. The products will be launched in conjunction with the 'Mushi 100 Festival (Mushi Hyakusaisai)', a celebratory event to be held on July 25 (Sat) and 26 (Sun), 2026.
'Mushi' has been produced in Toyama since its launch and will mark its 100th anniversary in 2026. To express gratitude, the company has collaborated with eight leading local enterprises to create 17 exclusive commemorative items available nowhere else. From socks and beverages to kamaboko, sake, and even a cast metal wind chime crafted as a traditional craft item, these unique products blend Toyama's craftsmanship with the iconic 'Mushi' brand identity. The items will be sold at affiliated event venues during the festival, with select items also available as prizes in capsule toy machines at the main venue.
Mushi × Umekama

Umekama, with decades of experience in kamaboko production, prioritizes safety, quality, and deliciousness, while ensuring the product is visually appealing and easy to eat for both children and adults. Mushi × Country Kitchen
A curry celebrating Mushi's 100th anniversary, where sweetness and richness reach an 'unparalleled' level. This ultimate local recipe features 'shiro-ebi' (white shrimp), the prized gem of Toyama Bay. Achieving Mushi's signature 'red' color in the curry base—normally brown—was a challenge. The final product balances flavor with mild spiciness, allowing the delicate umami of shiro-ebi to shine gently. Packaged in a commemorative box featuring 'Mushi THANKS 100th', this is a special item meant to spark conversations with family and friends over the question: 'Why curry and Mushi?'

Designed to help relax in the bathtub after a long day, it leaves the skin feeling cool and comfortable. Menthol, also found in Mushi S, delivers a gentle, refreshing sensation. The bathwater turns light blue with a fresh peppermint scent. Ideal after outdoor work, commuting, exercise, or to counteract 'summer chill' from air conditioning. Mushi × NOSUKE
Collaborating with NOSUKE, a metal casting manufacturer from Takaoka, Toyama, under the theme 'A 100th Summer Accompanied by the Five Senses.' This special wind chime delights the senses—soothing sounds, admired design, and enjoyed fragrance. The brass wind chimes come in three types, featuring current and two past generations of Mushi packaging on the tanzaku (paper strips). Slight differences in pitch between blue and red versions aim to recreate the familiar 'Mushi♪' sound logo from TV commercials, achieved by fine-tuning thickness. Rubbing the tanzaku releases a cool, Mushi-like scent. Colored using Orii's traditional techniques (corrosion & rice bran firing), it's a uniquely Toyama-made item. Also introduced is the 'Mushi Guinomi,' a 100% tin cup shaped like the Mushi S cap enlarged to 2.5 times its size. Faithfully recreating the instantly recognizable cap shape, it's a playful vessel that changes function but not form. The wind chime in brass and the guinomi in tin highlight NOSUKE's craftsmanship that leverages the unique properties of each material.
