Island's 'Mottainai' (wasteful) transformed into 'delicious' with Iki-born craft gin 'JAPANESE IKINOCRAFT GIN ORIGINAL'

Iki no Kura Shuzo Co., Ltd. (Representative Director: Fukutaro Ishibashi, Headquarters: Iki City, Nagasaki Prefecture) is proud to announce that its craft gin, "JAPANESE IKINOCRAFT GIN ORIGINAL," has received the Grand Prize in the Sake and Beverages category at the Reiwa 7 (2025) Nagasaki Prefecture Specialty Product New Exhibition.

Furthermore, it was also awarded the Governor's Award, selected as the single best product from among the Grand Prize winners of each category.

The award ceremony was held at the Nagasaki Prefectural Government on Friday, March 27, Reiwa 8 (2026).

JAPANESE IKINOCRAFT GIN ORIGINAL received the Governor's Award at the Reiwa 7 (2025) Nagasaki Prefecture Specialty Product New Exhibition.

About the Nagasaki Prefecture Specialty Product New Exhibition

The exhibition conducts comprehensive evaluations of products, including their impression and appearance, quality, marketability and needs, Nagasaki's unique characteristics, and suitability as souvenirs. One Grand Prize winner is selected from each of the following categories: Agricultural Processed Goods & Sake/Beverages, Fishery Processed Goods, Confectionery/Sweets, and Crafts/Daily Necessities/Others. From these four Grand Prize winners, one product is chosen to receive the Governor's Award. This year marks the 57th exhibition, and the winning product was selected from a large number of entries.
