ILC Corporation to Release 'INTAconnection Ver.1.43', a DX-ready Embedded Control Development Environment, at the End of June

ILC Corporation (Headquarters: Marunouchi, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director and CEO: Hideya Onishi) is scheduled to release 'INTAconnection Ver.1.43', the latest version of its DX-ready embedded control development environment, at the end of June 2026.

INTAconnection is an embedded control development environment that allows users to create control programs visually tailored to specific needs by combining functions as software modules called 'FunctionBox.' It supports integration with PLCs, industrial equipment, and host systems, contributing to data utilization and smart factory transformation.

Ver.1.43 strengthens connectivity with common PLCs and OPC UA servers, while adding features for bulk processing of multi-point data and simplifying complex control logic, enabling more efficient collection and control of facility data.

Key Features of INTAconnection Ver.1.43:

1. Expanded connectivity with existing equipment and more flexible PLC integration Adds FunctionBox modules for communication with Omron and Keyence PLCs. This enables read/write access to device data in existing equipment, allowing for flexible control flow construction in environments where PLCs from different manufacturers are mixed.

2. Streamlined multi-point data integration via OPC UA and SLMP Expands OPC UA FunctionBox capabilities to fetch data from OPC UA servers for use in INTAconnection control processes. It also updates SLMP FunctionBox to enable bulk reading/writing of multiple data points between Connected PLC internal memory and Mitsubishi Electric MELSEC sequencer device memory. This supports the efficient construction of monitoring and control systems handling hundreds of data points.

3. Simplified control flows and improved development/maintenance efficiency Adds a script-writing FunctionBox, allowing users to write custom scripts within INTAconnection. It also adds a FunctionBox for detecting rising/falling edges of input data, enabling intuitive construction of processes triggered by sensor or PLC signal changes. Furthermore, improvements to program writing methods and command execution times for Connected PLC facilitate smoother prototyping, verification, and adjustment.
