IMSF Corporation (Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Shigeki Inaba; hereinafter IMSF) is pleased to announce the release of 'INHERITOR OF THE LOST,' a smartphone roguelike card battle game inspired by real industrial heritage sites and modern architecture, on iOS starting April 15th (Wednesday).
**■ What is 'INHERITOR OF THE LOST'?** This game is a story where players become 'Inheritors' and trace the memories of industrial heritage that is on the verge of being lost. With the motto 'Industrial Heritage Protected by Games,' it aims to provide an experience where players can learn about the existence and historical value of these sites through play.
**■ Game Features**
**1. Roguelike Format Where Exploration and Choices Are Key** This game adopts a roguelike format where each stage is completed in about 10-20 minutes, and routes and events change with each play. Choosing the right route and conserving resources are key to success.
**2. Strategic 'Synergy' and 'Finishing Charge'** Battles unfold in a turn-based card battle format. Players utilize 'Synergy,' which creates powerful additional effects through card combinations, and a game-changing 'Finishing Charge' by the companion spirit 'Oscar,' to challenge rival spirit 'Nero' in battle.
**3. 'Collection Cards' to Deepen Knowledge** Cards obtained by clearing stages are themed after real industrial heritage sites (such as Hashima Island). By collecting cards, players can gradually uncover 'records' such as background episodes and history of these locations from the encyclopedia.
