Japan Tobacco Inc. (JT) has initiated a collaboration with total beauty company uka to explore, research, and commercialize plant ingredients unique to Japan. As part of this effort, they launched the 'Regenerative Lab' to maximize the value of these resources. Combining uka's salon expertise with JT's D-LAB research capabilities, the project focuses on the concept of 'Regenerative Beauty', aiming to create positive cycles for people, regions, and the earth using ingredients like Izu's Kuromoji and Ishigaki's Henna.
