Reservations for the Nagayamon room will start soon. Washin-mura continues to evolve. This gatehouse, with about 200 years of history, was dilapidated 8 months ago. The plaster was peeling, the mud walls were exposed, and the beams and pillars were full of holes from termite damage. It's like a dream that it could transform so beautifully. We wanted to preserve as much of the historical value as possible, so we restored it using traditional craftsmanship that doesn't use nails.
