The other day, a staff member who is a sewing professional brought in Christmas family dolls they had made in the past. Since their children have grown up, the dolls had been sleeping for a long time. They smiled and displayed them, saying, 'I hope displaying these at Washinmura will help guests feel the Christmas atmosphere.' Also, last Saturday, we held a DIY Christmas tree workshop using wreaths and pinecones. The instructor was a retired local elementary school teacher. Participants enjoyed decorating, and what was planned for 30 minutes ended up lasting over an hour. By inheriting the thoughts of local people and receiving their cooperation, we are taking steps forward toward our concept of 'a village that brings peace of mind.'
