About the Facilities Scattered across the grounds are a traditional house and a gatehouse built about 200 years ago, tents, and snow peak "Jyubako" (mobile houses). We live together with the following animals:

- 15 Rescue Cats + 1 Cat (living in the dormitory) - Goats - Dogs - A family of Silkie chickens (Ukokkei)

Regarding Animal Treats Under the guidance of veterinarians and to manage the health of the cats, we ask that guests refrain from bringing commercially available treats from outside. If you wish to give them treats, please purchase the carefully selected treats (additive-free, domestically sourced ingredients, etc.) sold at the Washinmura shop. *These are sold in limited quantities.

Other Precautions - Cats live freely on the premises. Guests with allergies should take precautions. - The animals are temperamental, so we do not know which rooms they will visit. They are not guaranteed to come. - The cats and dogs at Washinmura have been spayed/neutered and receive vaccinations and tick prevention medicine.
