【Event Report】CFOs from 16 Listed Companies Convene at the 9th 'CFO Meeting'

On April 23, 2026, IR Robotics hosted the 9th 'CFO Meeting by Listed Company Club' in Tokyo, an exclusive networking event tailored for CFOs and senior executives in management and corporate planning roles at listed companies.

This event is part of the initiatives of the 'Listed Company Club,' a community for presidents and directors of public firms operated by IR Robotics. It is held regularly to provide a space where individuals in similar positions can share challenges and practical knowledge that they cannot easily discuss elsewhere.

CFOs and top management at public companies are constantly tasked with capital policy, M&A strategies, IR, and strengthening governance systems. These areas often involve issues that cannot be solved by textbook theory alone. Therefore, there is a strong demand for 'real-world cases' and 'primary information' regarding how other companies operate and the background stories behind specific policies—details not found on the internet or in books. By bringing together CFOs from listed companies across various market segments in a fully closed setting, the event facilitates authentic information exchange.

Key themes discussed at the meeting included: Capital Raising & IR Strategy (challenges in dialogues with institutional investors, differences in IR activities by market segment); Organization & Talent Development (optimal organizational structures for back-office departments, nurturing next-generation CFOs); and Management Issues (real-world examples of capital policy and M&A strategies, efforts to strengthen governance).
