TOSHIMA STREET FES 2026 Urban Culture Festival Announced

The urban culture festival 'TOSHIMA STREET FES 2026 (TSFes)' will be held in the Ikebukuro area of Toshima Ward, Tokyo, for three days from November 1 (Sun) to November 3 (Tue, Holiday), 2026.

Marking its fourth year, TSFes is a multi-genre festival encompassing music, dance, art, urban sports, and food. Spanning five venues including the Ikebukuro West Gate Park Global Ring, Nakai-kebukuro Park, and Animate Theater, the entire city will transform into a stage for culture.

TSFes is a public-private partnership born from the initiative of MoveX, Inc., bringing together Toshima Ward and participating 'Team Toshima' companies. Last year, it saw a record-breaking 75,000 visitors, receiving significant acclaim as an experiential festival where the whole of Ikebukuro becomes a 'playground.'

We are announcing the content overview of the 'West Exit Area,' the symbolic main stage of TSFes. The venue, Ikebukuro West Gate Park Global Ring Theater, will serve as the 'base of the festival,' where the intensity of street culture can be experienced most deeply. It will feature everything from experiential content for beginners and children to top-level battles deciding the national champions.

A key highlight is the 'FREESTYLE SPACE,' a national championship fusion of various street cultures including street dance, freestyle basketball, freestyle football, double dutch, and kendama. With street dancer Sushiroll (MoveX) as the main producer, qualifiers are held in Tokyo, Aichi, and Osaka. On the event day, finalists will gather to decide the Grand Champion for the 2026 season.

In the West Exit Area, various producers and players will handle their respective content, presenting the diverse appeal of street culture in a multi-dimensional way. For TSFes 2026, in addition to the West Exit Area, we will gradually announce content for the East Exit Area and additional plans.
