New Akihabara Hub 'ANTHEM AKIBA' Concludes 16-Day Opening Week with High Attendance

REAL AKIBA GROUP (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo) officially inaugurated its new facility, 'LIVE HOUSE & CLUB ANTHEM AKIBA,' with an 'OPENING WEEK' held from April 25 to May 10, 2026. The venue hosted daily events spanning anime songs (anisong), idol performances, dance, anime collaborations, and DJ culture, drawing several thousand attendees and positioning itself as a new 'cultural intersection' for Akihabara.

Key highlights from the 16-day report include:

April 25: Anisong Day I Produced by DJ Caesar, the opening night featured Kanako Ito performing the 'STEINS;GATE' theme song 'Hacking to the Gate,' and concluded with a performance by Haruko Momoi, symbolizing the venue's deep roots in Akihabara history.

April 26: Idol Day I / Vocaloid Event Performances featured active idol groups like Kirameki☆Anforent and legends such as ULTRA-PRISM and DJ Maximum Eitasho. The evening shifted to 'Cho-Uchiage,' a Vocaloid-centric DJ event focusing on Nico Nico Douga culture.

April 28–29: Club Culture and Legends Events showcased 'Anikura' (anisong club events) with REAL AKIBA BOYZ members. On April 29, industry veterans Masaaki Endoh, Yoshiki Fukuyama, and Takayoshi Tanimoto performed iconic hits like 'GaoGaiGar' and 'Makka na Chikai,' bridging generational gaps with newer units like Anatasia.

May 1–5: Wotagei, Dance Battles, and Fan Meetings Events included specialized DJ nights for Wotagei enthusiasts featuring Ayane, and idol showcases by Luce Twinkle Wink☆ utilizing the venue's large-scale LED visuals. On May 3, a fan meeting for 'MIX JUICE from Amubo-ch' featured voice actresses Karin Isobe, Yurie Funato, and Moeka Koizumi. The May 5 'Akibakka-no High School' dance battle saw over 80 youth competitors.

May 6–10: Media Mix and Grand Finale Collaborations included the 'Dropkick on My Devil!' voice cast and a unique 'DJ x Pachislot' performance. The final days featured 2D idol music sets by Kotori Koiwai and a rock-focused day with FLOW’s TAKE, ROOKiEZ is PUNK’D, and nano.RIPE.
