ISFnet Security Specialist to Speak at MS Monthly Vulnerability Workshop Hosted by "Secu-Juku" on June 13

ISFnet announced that its security specialist will serve as a guest lecturer at the free seminar, "Understanding the Latest Vulnerabilities!! MS Monthly Vulnerability Workshop," hosted by the practical security school "Secu-Juku," operated by Heat Wave Co., Ltd., on June 13, 2026.

To counter increasingly sophisticated cyberattacks, knowledge of security is essential in the IT infrastructure field. In this workshop, an ISFnet specialist, representing a partner company of Secu-Juku, will guide infrastructure engineers and security personnel on how to "accurately identify vulnerabilities that are truly necessary in the field."

Speaker Profile Koji Nonoshita (ISFnet, Engineering Development Division, Technical Education Department). With over 25 years of experience in security-specialized companies, he has been involved in projects for major banks and government agencies, as well as the Japan-based launch of US security vendors. He has served as the chairperson of a Working Group at the Anti-Phishing Japan Council for over 10 years and has extensive experience as a speaker at various conferences.

In his comments, the lecturer emphasizes that "Critical" severity ratings do not always mean immediate response is required. He will guide participants on how to evaluate the actual necessity of vulnerability response for their own organizations based on factors such as the availability of Proof of Concept (PoC) and CVSS vector values. The previous seminar in May had 99 participants and received positive feedback.
