Tsugaru Vidro 'Yuki-utsushi' Second Collection Launches May 25th

Hokuyo Glass Co., Ltd., a consolidated subsidiary of glass tableware manufacturer Ishizuka Glass Co., Ltd., will release four new items in its limited-edition series 'Yuki-utsushi' under the traditional Aomori craft 'Tsugaru Vidro' brand on May 25, 2026.

'Yuki-utsushi' is a series inspired by the 'seven types of snow' tradition in the Tsugaru region, capturing the fall, texture, and fleeting brilliance of snow in glass. Following the first collection that focused on glassware, the second collection expands the collection with tableware such as bowls and plates that provide a refreshing aesthetic for summer dining tables. By evolving from 'vessels for drinking' to 'vessels for the dining table,' the series brings a cool, seasonal touch to daily life.

[Product Lineup] - Mizu-yuki Free Glass: Transparent, water-filled snow aesthetic. 2,200 JPY (tax included). - Wata-yuki Shallow Bowl: Three-dimensional texture reminiscent of freshly fallen snow. 1,650 JPY (tax included). - Kata-yuki Serving Plate: Textured surface resembling packed snow. 3,300 JPY (tax included). - Koori-yuki Chopstick Rest: Transparent, raindrop-shaped design. 935 JPY (tax included).
