Bel Amer Kyoto Bettei Introduces 'Melon-Filled' Afternoon Tea for Early Summer

The 'Chocolat Bar' on the second floor of Bel Amer Kyoto Bettei will introduce a seasonal 'Melon-filled' menu starting June 9th (Tue). The afternoon tea set (7,150 yen), which luxuriously uses both green and red-fleshed melons, features a white chocolate dessert shaped like a traditional 'masu' (square wooden box). Other offerings include the special dessert 'Melon Mille-feuille in a Chocolate Masu' (2,200 yen) and shaved ice in 'Matcha Yuzu' and 'Fraise Chocolat' flavors (1,760 yen each). Guests can enjoy the marriage of chocolate and seasonal ingredients in a space that utilizes a traditional Kyoto townhouse. At the Sanjo store, visitors can enjoy an elegant tea time with carefully selected coffee and tea.
