SPEED STAR 30m Dash Challenge to be held at Brand-me Ichibancho and Xebio Arena Sendai

SPEED STAR Inc. is hosting two stages of the 'SPEED STAR 30m Dash Challenge' in Sendai in 2026. The first stage will take place on June 21, 2026, at the Brand-me Ichibancho Shopping Street in Aoba Ward, Sendai, and the second stage on July 11, 2026, at Xebio Arena Sendai. In addition to athletes from Sendai's professional sports teams, Athens Olympic 4x100m relay silver medalist Nobuharu Asahara is confirmed to participate.

About the SPEED STAR 30m Dash Challenge: The event features a simple and exciting competitive style where participants sprint at full speed over a short distance of 30 meters. Previous events were held in Tokyo (May 2025) and Osaka (November 2025), attracting participants of all ages. Its straightforward rules allow anyone to challenge themselves easily.

First time in Sendai with two stages: Moving to Tohoku, Sendai, for the third time, the event begins on June 21 at Brand-me Ichibancho, turning a familiar shopping street into a race track. On July 11, the 'Athlete Battle' will be held at Xebio Arena, where professional sports team athletes and students will compete. With Nobuharu Asahara's participation, the battle to crown the fastest in Sendai begins.
