[JAF Mie] Suzuka Circuit Cruise: Drive Your Personal Car on the F1 Stage

The Mie Branch of JAF (Japan Automobile Federation), led by Branch Manager Hisashi Kawakita, will hold the 'JAF Day in Suzuka Circuit Circuit Cruise' on Friday, July 17th, at the Suzuka Circuit in Suzuka City.

This event is held regularly and is highly popular, consistently receiving more applications than the capacity. Its purpose is to foster camaraderie among JAF members and make motorsports more accessible. At the famous Suzuka Circuit, home to the F1 Japanese Grand Prix and the 8 Hours Endurance Road Race, participants can enjoy a commemorative photo on the home straight and then drive two laps of the full course (5.807km) in their own cars, led by a marshal car.

Since any four-wheeled vehicle is welcome, not just sports cars, many participate not only as motorsports fans but also with their families. Past participants have shared feedback such as, 'It was a great memory to be able to drive my own car on Suzuka Circuit' and 'My children who rode with me were very happy.'

Event Overview

Date and Time: Friday, July 17th, from 17:45 (scheduled). *May be cancelled due to severe weather. ■ Location: Suzuka Circuit (7992 Inou-cho, Suzuka City, Mie Prefecture) ■ Participation Fee: 5,500 yen per car (up to 2 people). 550 yen per additional person for 3 or more. ■ Capacity: 80 cars *Lottery if applications exceed capacity. ■ Participation Requirements: At least one person in the car must be a JAF member; must participate in a four-wheeled vehicle; must agree to the pledge form sent via email upon selection. ■ Deadline for Application: Sunday, July 5th, 23:00. ■ How to Apply: Please apply via the event page on the JAF website.
