[JAF Shiga] Learn about the 'Now' of Lake Biwa with Local Fishermen: Beach Seine Experience Event

The JAF Shiga Branch will hold an event titled 'Pull, Eat, and Learn! Lake Biwa Beach Seine Experience' at Yanagasaki Lakeside Park (Otsu City, Shiga Prefecture) on June 14 (Sun). Through a beach seine experience where participants work together to pull in nets under the guidance of local fishermen, we provide an opportunity to learn about Lake Biwa's fishing industry and nature. The event includes a full-scale beach seine experience, a food experience tasting lake fish (such as smelt) caught in Lake Biwa, and a learning program where local fishermen talk about the lake's fishing industry and natural environment.
