Wanikome Festival Summer
The 'Wanikome Festival Summer' will be held for two days from July 25 (Sat) to July 26 (Sun) at the Owani Town Community Exchange Center Wanikome. The event will feature live music performances, displays of police and Self-Defense Forces vehicles, and numerous food and craft booths. JAF Aomori Branch will also operate a booth and offer free issuance of the 'Children's Safety Driver's License'.
The Children's Safety Driver's License is a traffic safety awareness tool modeled after an actual driver's license. Children who participate in a traffic safety quiz can receive an instant photo ID card on-site. The card includes safety pledges related to traffic rules, helping children develop a daily awareness of road safety.
