[Free Admission] Japan's Best Gourmet Burger Competition: JAPAN BURGER CHAMPIONSHIP 2026 - 5th Edition "Baga-chan" to be Held from June 12 (Fri) to 14 (Sun) at Yokohama Red Brick Warehouse

The "Baga-chan" event, which has mobilized over 170,000 people across its past four editions, is back. The venue will simultaneously host a [Cooking Tournament] where chefs selected from nationwide compete for the title of Japan's best, and [Sales] of gourmet burgers gathered from across Japan and overseas. This year's sales area will feature 27 unique shops in total, including overseas chefs with proven track records in world competitions, past champions crowned as Japan's best, prestigious steakhouses, local burgers utilizing regional ingredients, photogenic cheese-based burgers, and smash burgers. Visitors can enjoy "world flavors," "flavors from across Japan," and "limited-edition burgers available only here!"

This year features an extensive global lineup, including steakhouses from Dubai, South Korea, and New York, as well as LA-style smash (patties pressed and grilled) burgers. Many burgers using ingredients with regional significance and stories will appear, such as Matsusaka beef, Hitachi beef, Joshu beef, shark meat, Azumino wasabi, zunda (sweet edamame paste), Sasebo burgers, and salsa verde. Visitors can also enjoy limited menus prepared by each shop exclusively for Baga-chan, along with special dishes unique to the event.
