JUNGLIA OKINAWA's New Major Attraction 'YAMBARU TORNADO' Grand Opens on April 29, 2026! Local Residents Invited for Pre-Experience

Japan Entertainment Inc. (Nago City, Okinawa; CEO: Takeshi Kato), the operator of the northern Okinawa theme park 'JUNGLIA OKINAWA,' officially opened the 'YAMBARU TORNADO' on April 29, 2026. This thrill-based attraction allows families, from children to adults, to experience an exhilarating 'super refreshing' scream while taking in the magnificent scenery of Yanbaru.

YAMBARU TORNADO is a large-scale attraction that can accommodate 48 passengers at a time. The addition of this ride increases the overall park capacity and expands the number of attraction experiences per day, providing a more comfortable park experience for all guests.

On April 27, 2026, a pre-experience event was held for approximately 57 local residents living near JUNGLIA OKINAWA. Guests who experienced the ride early provided enthusiastic feedback, such as: 'It was my first time experiencing such an attraction in Okinawa,' 'The exhilarating feeling you get when a roller coaster drops just keeps on going—it was so much fun,' and 'As a Nago resident, I am proud to have such an attraction here. I want many people to ride it.'

Located in the 'Jungle Extremes' area, YAMBARU TORNADO features a ride diameter of approximately 16 meters. As it begins to rotate and move with a pleasant breeze, the attraction gradually tilts, reaching a maximum height of approximately 20 meters. From this height towering over the Yanbaru valleys, guests can gaze at the vast nature and blue sky while their bodies are turned completely upside down at the highest point. This provides a unique and thrilling experience where the distant mountains seem to swirl within one's vision.
