Mimaki Engineering Obtains 3M's Long-Term Graphics Warranty Program Certification for Key Printers

Mimaki Engineering, Co., Ltd., a manufacturer of industrial inkjet printers, announced that its large-format inkjet printers for sign creation—the JV200, CJV200, JV330, and CJV330 series—along with their compatible eco-solvent inks, have been certified for the 3M™ MCS™ Warranty Program.

The 3M™ MCS™ Warranty Program is a system for delivering high-quality graphics to customers, offering up to a 6-year weather resistance warranty for graphics produced by certified shops using specified materials. The program helps protect corporate brand images by suppressing risks such as cracking, peeling, shrinkage, and fading, thereby keeping outdoor graphics beautiful over the long term.

With this certification now extending to the entry-level JV200 and CJV200 series, in addition to the production-model JV330 and CJV330 series, a broader range of customers can now opt for this warranty program. The certified eco-solvent ink, "SS22," not only achieves vibrant colors and high weather resistance but is also designed with the work environment in mind, significantly reducing the characteristic odor of solvents.

As a result, a wide array of printing environments, from entry-class to production use, can now support the 3M™ MCS™ Warranty Program, creating an environment where more print service providers can easily offer signs with long-term warranties.

The certified printers and inks are as follows: - **JV200-130/-160, CJV200-130/-160**: SS22 / SS21 (C,M,Y,K,Lc,Lm,Lk,Or) - **JV330-130/-160, CJV330-130/-160**: SS22 / SS21* (C,M,Y,K,Lc,Lm,Lk,Or) *SS21 ink for JV330 and CJV330 was previously certified for this program in April 2025.
