[Important] Tsukuba City Adopts 'GO Ticket' to Alleviate Pregnant Women's Travel Anxiety, First in Prefecture for Digital Taxi Tickets in Maternal Support

In response to the growing demand for taxi orders via app, the use of "GO Ticket", Japan's first digital taxi ticket usable within the app, is increasing year by year. Similar to traditional paper taxi tickets, it can be used for taxi fare payments. ｜"GO Ticket" Usable with Taxi App "GO" to be Distributed to Pregnant and Postpartum Women in Tsukuba City Municipalities promoting DX are increasingly adopting digital taxi tickets as mobility support measures for local residents. Recently, "GO Ticket" was adopted for Tsukuba City's "Maternal Taxi Usage Fee Subsidy Program" in Ibaraki Prefecture. Pregnant and postpartum women who are registered residents of Tsukuba City and have received a maternal and child health handbook can apply electronically through the city's website to receive a total of 20,000 yen worth of "GO Tickets" usable from Reiwa 8 (2026). "GO Tickets" can be used as a payment method for fares in GO-equipped taxi vehicles※2. They can be used for prenatal check-ups from pregnancy to postpartum, hospital admissions and discharges related to childbirth, as well as for other obstetric and gynecological visits related to pregnancy and childbirth.
