OTOTEN2026 to Be Held June 19 (Fri) – 21 (Sun)

This weekend, from June 19 (Fri) to 21 (Sun), 2026, the audio and home theater festival "OTOTEN2026" (organized by the Japan Audio Society, located in Minato-ku, Tokyo; President: Riko Ogawa) will be held at Tokyo International Forum.

OTOTEN2026 will feature 79 companies and organizations, offering diverse ways to enjoy sound through audio equipment, home theaters, earphones and headphones, car audio, music streaming services, and acoustic technologies.

This year, a new "Premium Day" with limited attendance will be introduced before the general public days. The event will also include Japan-first product unveilings, the latest technologies, developer-led explanation sessions, ambassador programs, and more—designed to appeal to both audiophiles and newcomers. Below are some highlights of this year’s event.

[Limited-Attendance "Premium Day" (June 19)]

On Friday, June 19, we will hold the first-ever Premium Day.

Before the general public opening, exhibitors will present special programs offering early access to new products and technologies, developer explanations, and flagship model listening sessions.

Here are some unique highlights available only during the Premium Day, allowing visitors to enjoy music and audio in a calm and focused environment.

Experience New Products and Technologies Firsthand

Audio-Technica (Booth G404) will make the domestic debut of its new MC cartridge "AT-MCD1," unveiled at "HIGH END Vienna 2026." Harman International (G409) will present the Japan-first reference display and world-first demonstration of the "Summit K2," symbolizing JBL’s 80th anniversary, along with new fully wireless earphone models. WAPAN (G507) will officially launch a world-first, newly conceptualized speaker co-developed with Lu Kang Audio and Kousei Seiko, and host developer-led explanations. Emirai (G505) will showcase and offer listening sessions for Cambridge Audio products, a newly added brand in their lineup. Additionally, Nippon Electric Glass (B1F Lobby Gallery) will exhibit and allow listening to speakers featuring "Sonarion," an ultra-thin glass diaphragm.

Exclusive Premium Day Experiences

On Premium Day, exhibitors will host unique listening sessions and experiential events. KEF JAPAN (G607) will allow visitors to request songs for listening sessions on the Reference 5 Meta and Blade One Meta. Oyade Denki Shokai (G401) will host the "Jifuku Record Event," offering exclusive access to a high-end audio system valued at approximately 8 million yen. NagaoKa (G503) will host record bring-in listening sessions and live cleaning demonstrations. Yamaha Music Japan (G407) will launch a collaboration project with the anime "Jouna Botan, Yoeru Sugata wa Yuri no Hana," offering a uniquely immersive audio experience exclusive to Premium Day.

This year’s OTOTEN will also feature the latest products and technological proposals from exhibitors across diverse categories, including audio, home theater, car audio, and portable audio.

In the popular car audio segment, Toyota Customizing & Development (B1F Demo Car Display) will exhibit the "ALPHARD MODELLISTA CONCEPT" under the MODELLISTA brand. Meanwhile, Tohoku Pioneer (B1F Demo Car Display) will showcase a demo car featuring the "GRAND RESOLUTION" in-car high-end series, incorporating technology from the high-end audio brand "TAD," and will also preview a glowing box speaker launching in July.

Yamaha (Ground Plaza) will present the mobile experience room "#Tabisuru Bouonshitsu," allowing visitors to experience an ideal theater space with optimized acoustics in an environment resembling a wooden residential home.

International brands are also well represented. Shokz (G402), popular for open-ear audio, WiiM (D502), known for network streamers, and Questyle (G402) will exhibit reference models of Hi-Fi speakers and wireless streaming amplifiers.

Exhibitors showcasing high-end audio products include D&M Holdings (Hall D1), offering early experiences with Denon’s latest AV amplifier, new turntable models, listening sessions for DALI’s flagship speaker "DALI KORE," and cable comparison experiences with AudioQuest products.

Teac (G603, G604) will feature high-end system listening sessions with ESOTERIC and Avantgarde, demonstrations of Teac’s latest network transport, and headphone listening experiences.

Saec Commerce (G605), co-exhibiting with Kousei Seiko, Maemura Sound Lab, and Yuki Seimitsu, will offer comparative listening experiences of SAEC’s new tonearm "WE-712" and jointly developed accessories with Yuki Seimitsu, showcasing the forefront of analog playback.

TOA (G609) will offer listening sessions for the ME-50FS, a professional monitor speaker developed to serve as the original reference for reproduced sound.

D&M Holdings, Teac (ESOTERIC), Saec Commerce, TOA

On the 7th floor of the Glass Building, 14 companies—more than last year—will gather, focusing on popular portable audio products and offering diverse listening experiences.

This year, OTOTEN will also feature book and software sales from various publishers, and food trucks will be available at the Ground Plaza. Additionally, a stamp rally will be held within the venue, with audio products and other prizes available through a lottery.
