Japan Junior Chamber Inc. (President: Daisho Kato, Location: VORT Hanzomon 7F, 2-12-1 Kojimachi, Chiyoda-ku, hereinafter "Japan JC") is pleased to announce the designation of Keita Sugawara (Current Japan JC Vice President / JCI President's Special Aide (Asia-Pacific Region) Affiliation: Sendai Junior Chamber Inc.) as the designated successor for the 2027 President.

During the 2027 Presidential Candidate Registration Period (July 1, 2026 (Wed) to July 5, 2026 (Sun) until 15:00), no other candidates besides Keita Sugawara submitted their applications. The Election Management Committee reviewed the qualifications and found him to be eligible.

His term will commence on January 1, 2027, and will last for one year (from January 1, 2027, to December 31, 2027). The 2027 President will be officially decided at the 183rd General Assembly, to be held during the "75th National Convention Kobe Convention" this October, following approval from the members of the various Junior Chambers.
