Nostalgic yet new retro 'Cafe Co-op' opens in Shibuya for a limited time! Experiential event delivering the 'charm of Co-op products' held for 3 days from April 24

The Japanese Consumers' Co-operative Union (JCCU) will hold a commemorative event 'Cafe Co-op' at Shibuya Stream Inari-bashi Square from April 24 to 26 to celebrate its upcoming 75th anniversary in 2026. Targeting the younger generation in their 20s, the retro-themed cafe offers a hands-on experience with Co-op products. Visitors can sample the 45-year long-seller 'CO・OP Mix Carrot' juice, receive newly released gummies through a recycling box voting activity, and get castella or fruit soda by taking photos at retro spots or answering surveys. Additionally, an X (Twitter) giveaway campaign will run from April 13 to 30, rewarding 750 participants with a Co-op product assortment.
