jig.jp (Headquarters: Sabae City, Fukui Prefecture; TSE Growth Market: 5244) announced that it has started accepting applications for its 'Summer Internship 2026' program for students aspiring to become engineers, effective June 3, 2026 (Wednesday). The internship will be held from August 17, 2026 (Monday) to September 16, 2026 (Wednesday), offering a total of four courses.

Background of the Internship

Many employees at jig.jp, including founder Taisuke Fukuno, are graduates of the National Institute of Technology (KOSEN), starting from the Fukui KOSEN. The practical technical skills and passion for manufacturing cultivated at KOSEN have been a key driving force supporting the company's technological foundation and business growth from its founding to the present.

This internship aims to provide students with an experience of the entire product development process in an environment close to actual work, offering technical and perspective-building opportunities for their future career development, beyond just being part of job-hunting activities.

jig.jp plans and holds this internship annually to pass on its accumulated development know-how and experience in nurturing KOSEN students to the next generation of engineers, contributing to the improvement of technical standards across the industry.
