Kaneko Corporation was founded in 1929 as Kaneko Seiichi Shoten, a machine tool sales company, in Nippori, Arakawa-ku. It was incorporated in 1939 as Tokyo Kaneko Kikai Seisaku Co., Ltd., renamed Tokyo Kaneko Kikai Co., Ltd. in 1973, and then to its current name, Kaneko Corporation, in 2006. As a "Monozukuri Partner" in machine manufacturing and sales, it has consistently focused on machinery.
Its product lineup is diverse, including various processing machines, general-purpose machine tools, forging machines, inspection/measurement/cleaning equipment, robots, and distribution/warehouse equipment. In 2012, it further expanded its role as a house dealer by establishing Kaneko Engineering Co., Ltd. as a group company.
Furthermore, the company actively addresses environmental issues associated with corporate activities. Under the basic environmental philosophy of "striving for environmental preservation and contributing to the maintenance and development of a rich and future-oriented society," it obtained environmental ISO 14001 in 2006 to leave a sustainable global environment for the next generation. It implements "saving" and "reuse" to effectively utilize limited global resources, and has established action guidelines for reducing environmental impact and preventing pollution, with company-wide efforts.
