Family restaurant Joyfull (Headquarters: Oita City, Oita Prefecture; President: Kurumi Anami) will begin selling its summer staple sweet, "Shaved Ice" (Kakigori), from 3:00 PM on Tuesday, April 14, 2026. At Joyfull, shaved ice is traditionally sold from mid-April, aligning with the time when temperatures begin to rise ahead of Golden Week, and has been highly popular among many customers as a "taste of early summer."

This year, a total of 5 types, including 3 new menu items, will be introduced. In addition to new items such as the "Popping Cream Soda" which offers a refreshing taste, a shaved ice topped with blueberry sauce on "Kyoho Grape Syrup", and another combining "Yamanashi White Peach Syrup" with mango sauce, we have also prepared our annually popular staple items "Strawberry" and "Matcha Red Bean".

Cold sweets combining fluffy, melt-in-the-mouth ice with syrup and sauce are the perfect dish for this season when temperatures begin to rise. At Joyfull, you can enjoy shaved ice as a sweet treat to feel summer a little early.
