Sansan, Inc., a provider of AX services that transform work styles, announced the successful implementation and results of its accounting AX service, 'Bill One,' at Nomura Real Estate Holdings, Inc. Previously, Nomura Real Estate HD relied on paper-based invoice processing, involving manual tasks such as receiving and scanning documents. By introducing Bill One in July 2023 and expanding it to 10 group companies, the firm has digitized approximately 320,000 invoices annually. The finance department alone has saved over 9,000 hours, allowing the entire company to focus on core business activities. This achievement led to the company receiving the 'Bill One Innovator' award at the 'Sansan Innovation Award 2026.' The background for this adoption included the high labor costs associated with manual invoice handling and the need to comply with the invoice system. Post-implementation, the company not only saved time but also established a centralized online approval and management system, strengthening governance. Tomohiro Imagawa of Nomura Real Estate noted that Bill One significantly contributed to raising awareness and improving operations within the finance department, supporting their goal of reducing paper documents by 80%.
