[JPI Seminar] "Organizational Design, Control System Security, and Human Resource Development at Chubu Electric Power" June 17 (Wed) <Tokyo>

The Japan Planning Institute (JPI) is inviting Hiroyuki Hasegawa, Director of the Expert Security Center at Chubu Electric Power Co., Inc., to conduct a seminar on organizational design, control system security measures, and human resource development. The cyber landscape surrounding companies is changing rapidly due to recent cyberattack trends. This situation is no exception for businesses with control systems, such as the manufacturing industry, and risks are also increasing for companies within the supply chain. In this lecture, the speaker will explain the situation surrounding cybersecurity and approaches to countermeasures, including the history of cybersecurity in the power sector and industry, as well as human resource development and community activities. The lecture will also detail basic approaches to control systems, which are closely related to security strategy planning and business continuity.
