Japan Energy Integrated System Announces Contract Signing with Yo-kou Co., Ltd. for Grid-Scale Battery Storage Installation Construction

Japan Energy Integrated System Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Takamatsu City, Kagawa Prefecture, CEO: Seiji Kurobuchi, hereinafter "JPN") announces that it has entered into a contract with Yo-kou Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Ikoma City, Nara Prefecture, CEO: Tsuyoshi Matsumoto, hereinafter "Yo-kou") for the construction of grid-scale battery storage.

The new grid-scale battery storage facility, planned for grid connection in November 2026, will be aggregated by JPN Group's RE100 Denryoku Co., Ltd. The newly established storage facility through this agreement will contribute to the stabilization of energy supply in Japan and promote the dissemination and expansion of renewable energy.

Yo-kou has been actively advancing renewable energy-related businesses nationwide, including solar power generation projects and carbon offset projects, in order to realize a sustainable decarbonized society. With the aim of further expanding renewable energy introduction, they will proceed with the implementation of grid-scale battery storage projects across the country.

JPN will continue to contribute to the expansion of renewable energy introduction and the realization of a sustainable society through the operation of the deployed storage equipment.
