JR Ueno Station's 'Ecute Ueno' Hosts 'Iromeku Natsu o Atsumete Yoru' Fair to Enjoy Rainy Season Nights

Ecute Ueno, an in-station commercial facility at JR Ueno Station operated by JR East Cross Station Development Company (Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; Company President: Yoshiaki Shirata), will hold a fair titled 'Iromeku Natsu o Atsumete Yoru' (Gathering Colorful Summer Nights) from June 15 (Mon) to July 7 (Tue), 2026, proposing the 'rainy season'—the gateway to summer—as a nighttime scene. During this fair, we will sell gourmet items and goods that allow you to feel cool through your five senses, such as 'refreshing scents,' 'chilled,' and 'fizzy' items, as well as colorful sweets to brighten your mood. We will also offer 'Rainy Day Coupons' to turn rainy days into something to look forward to, and 'Night Street Corner Live' performances that you can enjoy on your way home from work. This is the second year of the event in Ueno, and we have upgraded it to propose an in-station experience that turns the gateway to summer into a 'slightly better day.' Recommended items include seasonal limited products such as 'Yuzu Brandy Cake' (450 yen / Rain), 'Ao-ume no Hitoshizuku' (6 pieces, 2,600 yen / Jiichiro), 'Ume Shiso Chicken' (450 yen / Fuku Bagel), 'Kinokuniya Amanatsu Jelly' (540 yen / Kinokuniya Entree), and 'Framboise Glaze' (421 yen / Donut Mori). Drinks include 'Ume Coffee Sparkling' (650 yen / Social Good Roasters) and 'Lemonade Soda' (760 yen / Coffee & Bar Genie Kuramae). Goods such as 'Mini Mineral Specimen Crystal' (1,320 yen / The Study Room) and 'Edo Furin' (4,180 yen / Nakagawa Masashichi Shoten) will also be available to provide a cooling effect. Furthermore, we will distribute coupons via our official X account (@ecute_ueno) that make shopping at Ecute Ueno more affordable on rainy days, and we will hold live music performances by musicians at the 'Tomarigi' event space inside the ticket gates on June 12, 19, July 3, and 7.
