Starting around July 1, 2026, a summer menu will be offered on the Grand Class of the Tohoku/Hokkaido Shinkansen and Hokuriku Shinkansen. The Western-style meal is produced by DEAN & DELUCA, and the Japanese-style meal, supervised by Japanese cuisine chef Hiromitsu Nozaki, is based on the concept of "Flavors of Shonai."

On the Tohoku/Hokkaido Shinkansen and Hokuriku Shinkansen's "Grand Class (with beverages and light meals)" service, we offer refreshments that can be chosen from two types: Western-style and Japanese-style. For the summer menu, available from approximately July to September, the Western-style option is produced by "DEAN & DELUCA" with the concept of "Summer Scents Unfolding," and the Japanese-style option is supervised by Japanese cuisine chef Hiromitsu Nozaki, based on the concept of "Flavors of Shonai."
