JTB-CWT has also implemented this scheme for its own business air travel to reduce and offset CO2 emissions. This service addresses the growing corporate focus on Scope 3 decarbonization and the critical need for aviation to achieve carbon neutrality, especially for Japan. The service uses Marubeni's SAF environmental value sales program. Key features include one-stop outsourcing for travel arrangements, CO2 visualization, and environmental value purchase; reliable emission reduction certificates issued under ClassNK-certified guidelines; and flexible purchase units. JTB-CWT's future plans involve optimizing the balance between travel demand and SAF supply and continuously proposing sustainable air travel schemes.
