JTEKT Selected as CDP 2025 Supplier Engagement Leader

JTEKT Corporation has been selected as a 'Supplier Engagement Leader' in the CDP 2025 Supplier Engagement Rating (SEA), the highest possible rating. This marks the fourth time since 2021 that the company has received this recognition for its efforts to engage and collaborate with suppliers on climate change issues. The JTEKT Group has established the 'Environmental Challenge 2050' under the slogan 'All for One Earth,' continuing its commitment to preserving the planet for future generations. To achieve carbon neutrality, the company is reducing CO2 emissions across Scopes 1, 2, and 3, with a specific goal of achieving carbon neutrality in Scope 1 and 2 by 2035. Furthermore, JTEKT has been installing solar power generation equipment at its facilities. In June 2024, it launched the 'CN Lab' to generate hydrogen using solar power, and in December 2025, it introduced hydrogen-fueled aluminum melting furnaces into its automotive parts production lines. The company is also focusing on the circular economy to maximize resource value and minimize waste.
