[Event Report] Kimura Information Technology sponsors the May 2nd Sagan Tosu vs. Tegevajaro Miyazaki match as "Kimura Information Technology presents 'MOOTOON' Manga Revolution Match"

On Saturday, May 2, 2026, at the Ekimae Real Estate Stadium, Kimura Information Technology Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Saga City, Saga Prefecture; Representative Director: Takao Kimura; hereinafter "Kimura Information Technology") served as the match-day sponsor for the Meiji Yasuda J2/J3 Centennial League 14th round match between Sagan Tosu and Tegevajaro Miyazaki.

On the day, centered around the match-day title "Kimura Information Technology presents 'MOOTOON' Manga Revolution Match," the company held an exhibition of manga works created by children using AI and an awards ceremony for winners selected through a preliminary screening.

Prior to the match, in late April, the company held a workshop titled "Create Your Own Soccer Manga! Generative AI Manga Creation Workshop" for elementary, junior high, and high school students, with about 30 parents and children participating. After a brief lecture on AI, participants used the company's AI manga creation platform, "MOOTOON STUDIO," to create unique soccer-themed works. The completed works were bound, signed by players on the covers, and presented to the participants.

These works were exhibited inside the stadium on match day, drawing the attention of many attendees. An awards ceremony was held on the pitch for the four winners of the preliminary screening, where they received prizes including autographed merchandise.

Before the match, Representative Director Takao Kimura appeared to give a sponsor's greeting, leading a stadium-wide wave to boost unity. The match went to a penalty shootout, which Sagan Tosu won. After the match, the "MOOTOON Special Award" was presented to Daichi Suzuki, who scored the first goal.

"MOOTOON STUDIO" uses a unique design that structures manga production know-how—such as panel layout, camera angles, art styles, and expression techniques—to instruct AI, enabling the stable generation of high-quality works. Kimura Information Technology will continue to support Sagan Tosu and engage with fans and supporters through such initiatives.
