The creative performance project "Kaguzuchi-KAGUZUCHI-" participated in the futuristic fireworks entertainment event "STAR ISLAND 2026" on May 23, 2026, marking its first successful execution of fire effects on an offshore floating stage. Operating fire effects on water platforms presents significant technical challenges compared to traditional land stages, requiring the simultaneous coordination of logistics, safety buffer zones, wind direction monitoring, humidity control, and precise communication protocols. In collaboration with various stakeholders, Kaguzuchi safely executed these high-impact effects under specialized conditions.

Set against the Tokyo Bay skyline, the performance integrated the raw physicality of fire dancers with the massive scale of 12,000 fireworks and 800 drones. CEO Hideyuki Izumi noted that while the fireworks and drones are precision-controlled by software, the addition of live fire performers provides a "live energy" that defines the STAR ISLAND experience. The offshore setup added a unique 3D depth to the visual field as fire trails reflected off the water's surface, creating an immersive atmosphere that transcends standard flat-stage limitations.

Following this milestone, Kaguzuchi plans to expand its services to seaside events, municipal tourism initiatives, and luxury resort entertainment. The project's core strength lies in its scalability, offering tailored designs for audiences ranging from small private groups to tens of thousands of attendees. By combining traditional fire arts with modern LED technology, Kaguzuchi aims to provide high-impact spatial design that enhances both the physical "experience value" and the digital "shareability" of major events and brand launches worldwide.
