The Kanesue Group (Headquarters: Ichinomiya, Aichi; President: Yoshihiro Ushida), which operates the community-based supermarket 'Kanesue' primarily in the Tokai region, is implementing a large-scale rebranding. This includes the production of the first TV commercial in the company's history since its founding in 1902, as well as a new brand slogan, brand logo, and staff uniforms. The TV commercial, featuring actor Yu Miyazaki from the Tokai region, will begin airing on Wednesday, April 1, 2026. Kanesue was founded in 1902 as a small grocery store in Ichinomiya, Aichi, with the desire to 'deliver better products at lower prices.' Today, it operates approximately 100 stores across Aichi, Mie, Gifu, Shizuoka, and Shiga prefectures. With this rebranding, the company has adopted the new slogan 'EVERYDAY WELLNESS SUPERMARKET' to meet the changing needs of consumers and aims to become a wellness-first supermarket that enriches customers' lives. The company is also updating its logo for better visibility and introducing a diverse range of new uniforms. The TV commercial, titled 'Let's Go to Kanesue,' depicts scenes where Miyazaki incorporates 'Let's go to Kanesue' into her daily life, accompanied by a theme song written by Ms.OOJA.
