Kappa Sushi, part of the Colowide Group, will expand its collaboration with Too Good To Go, the world's largest food waste reduction app, to 62 stores across Tokyo, Kanagawa, Saitama, and Chiba from June 4, 2026. The rollout follows a March 2026 pilot at two Tokyo stores (Nerima Nukui and Minami-Ikebukuro), where discounted sushi and side dishes attracted new customer segments interested in sustainability and affordable dining. The phased expansion covers all 12 Tokyo stores, 15 Kanagawa stores from June 4, 19 Saitama stores from June 15, and 16 Chiba stores from June 24. Too Good To Go operates in 21 countries with over 120 million users and 200,000+ partner businesses. Kappa Sushi frames the initiative under SDGs 12 (responsible consumption), 13 (climate action), and 17 (partnerships), aligning with the Colowide Group's five sustainability priorities including environmental contribution and food safety.
