Katakura will hold the annual environmental event "SDGs Fair @ Cocoon City 2026" at "Cocoon City," the commercial area on company-owned land in front of JR Saitama-Shintoshin Station, for 10 days from Friday, June 5, to Sunday, June 14, 2026, to coincide with the Ministry of the Environment's Environment Month in June. The event is held in collaboration with Saitama Prefecture and various companies.

Simultaneously, the event "Saitama Uchimizu (water-sprinkling) Operation 2026" will be held to raise awareness of global warming and heat island countermeasures through the traditional practice of sprinkling water.

We are a participating member of the "Saitama Circular Economy Promotion Subcommittee" established by Saitama Prefecture.

SDGs Fair @ Cocoon City 2026

1. SDGs Exhibition Booths Introducing SDGs initiatives from Saitama Prefecture and participating companies. Collection boxes will be set up for plastics and paper products. Date: June 5 (Fri) - June 14 (Sun) Location: Cocoon 2, 1F Omotenashi Plaza

2. Clothing Recycling Campaign Cooperate by donating 5 or more unwanted items of clothing and complete a survey to receive a 500-yen shopping voucher usable at Cocoon City. Date: June 12 (Fri) - June 14 (Sun) Time: 10:00 - 13:00 Location: Cocoon 2, 1F Hikari Street

3. SDGs Workshops Workshops related to SDGs will be held by Cocoon City stores and member companies of the Circular Economy Subcommittee. Saitama Uchimizu Operation 2026 Co-hosted with the Saitama City Environmental Council, Saitama City, and Saitama Prefecture. It includes water-sprinkling and exhibits on eco-friendly lifestyles.
