About 'Town Hero Academy Special Edition ~Science~'

This event is a tripartite collaboration among Soka City, Tokyo Denki University, and the company, aiming to provide experiential learning opportunities that are difficult to obtain through standard school education. The event is being held to promote coordinated educational initiatives across the region, as the nearest stations—Kita-Senju, Soka, and Kōnosu—are all connected via private railway lines.

Through this three-part program, the organizers aim to foster young people's interest in science and manufacturing, while also inspiring them to think about the future of Soka City. The first session was held on Saturday, July 4, and this event at the Shin-Soka Fire Station marks the second session. The third session is scheduled to take place on Tuesday, August 25, at the company's Ibaraki Factory.

Program Content

The session will begin at the Shin-Soka Fire Station, where participants will learn about the importance of maintaining and managing infrastructure that supports our daily lives. They will then explore how construction machinery is used to build essential facilities like fire stations, deepening their understanding of urban development mechanisms.
