30th Anniversary of Passing, 50th Anniversary of 'Hamidashikko'. 'Total Feature: Jun Mihara (Expanded Edition)' to be published in June!

Kawade Shobo Shinsha Co., Ltd. (Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo) will release a book focusing on the career of manga artist Jun Mihara, titled 'Total Feature: Jun Mihara (Expanded Edition) - Thoughts Overflow, the Story Continues -' (Retail price: 1,980 JPY, including tax) on June 26, 2026.

This edition expands on the 2015 publication 'Bungei Bessatsu: Jun Mihara' by 48 pages. Additionally, a limited 'Jun Mihara Special Box' (Retail price: 3,850 JPY, including tax), which includes the book and a 64-page 'Lost Original Manuscript' in a specially designed box, will be released on the same day.

● Contents of the Expansion - Lost Original Manuscript: The beginning portion, written just before the birth of the 'Hamidashikko' series, is published for the first time. - Distinguished Contributors: New contributions by Akiko Monden, Keiko Nishi, and Nami Saso. - 48-page Expansion: Additional major color illustrations and a new discussion panel marking the 30th anniversary of her passing.
