Kawai Kawaguchi, a Semi-Flagship Store, Relocates and Reopens as a New Base for Music Culture in Saitama Prefecture

Kawai Musical Instruments Mfg. Co., Ltd. will relocate and reopen its semi-flagship store, "Kawai Kawaguchi," on Saturday, April 11, within the "Kawaguchi General Culture Center Lilia" in Kawaguchi City, Saitama Prefecture.

Since establishing the "Kawai Kawaguchi Shop" within the "Kawaguchi General Culture Center Lilia" in 2004, we have fostered exchanges with the local community through music for over 20 years. During the center's renovation period from 2024, we operated from a temporary store. Now, with the center's renewal and reopening, we will reopen under the name "Kawai Kawaguchi" with a refreshed look.

At "Kawai Kawaguchi," we will exhibit and sell high-value pianos, including our flagship model "Shigeru Kawai," alongside a rich selection of sheet music. Furthermore, we will co-locate the "Kawai Music School," which provides an optimal environment for piano lessons, and "Le Mieux (Ryu Myu)," a music salon capable of accommodating approximately 100 people. Through concerts, recitals, and music events, we aim to develop it as a hub for disseminating music culture open to the community. "Le Mieux (Ryu Myu)" was named with the aspiration to become "the best place to resonate life." We will provide pianos that maximize expressive potential and an optimal space for everyone preparing for recitals and competitions, creating a place for growth alongside music. *Le Mieux (Ryu Myu) = French for "the best" / "most skillfully"

We will be celebrating our 100th anniversary in 2027. Positioning "Kawai Kawaguchi" as our new core base in Saitama Prefecture, we will nurture local music culture and advance our activities towards the next 100 years.
