Kawasaki Launches Revamped Flagship Models 'Ninja ZX-10R' and 'Ninja ZX-10RR' with Enhanced Performance, Design, and Convenience

Kawasaki Motors Japan, Ltd. has announced the launch of its new supersport models, the 'Ninja ZX-10R' on August 1, 2026, and the 'Ninja ZX-10RR' on September 12, 2026.

The newly equipped large winglets enhance front-end grip during cornering, while the updated chassis geometry improves overall control and riding performance. The models also feature a new styling that represents the next generation of Ninja supersport family, giving them a presence fitting for flagship models.

The engine maintains the high performance proven in the Superbike World Championship while improving emission levels. In addition to the electronic control package that supports precise riding, a new TFT meter with turn-by-turn navigation has been adopted, enhancing convenience for street riding.

The model lineup includes the high-level base model 'Ninja ZX-10R' and the 'Ninja ZX-10RR', a track-focused single-seat model limited to 500 units worldwide. The ZX-10RR is equipped with Pankl titanium connecting rods, lightweight pistons, and exclusive suspension components.

The manufacturer's suggested retail price is 2,486,000 yen (including tax) for the Ninja ZX-10R and 3,476,000 yen (including tax) for the Ninja ZX-10RR. They will be available in Lime Green and other colors exclusively at Kawasaki Plaza dealerships nationwide.

Key changes from previous models include improved aerodynamics with large winglets generating about 25% more downforce, and newly designed side and tail cowls. The engine features an additional O2 sensor for cleaner emissions and better cooling. The chassis and suspension have been optimized with a modified swingarm pivot position and front fork protrusion for better traction and control. Electronics have been upgraded with a new compact headlight, a 5-inch TFT color display, and smartphone connectivity via the 'RIDEOLOGY THE APP MOTORCYCLE'.

These models are part of the 'Kawasaki Care' program, which offers complimentary regular inspections and oil changes for three years.
