Kyoto Century Hotel to Launch New 'Kyo Premium' Rooms and Monthly Jazz Lives from May 1

Kyoto Century Hotel (Shimogyo-ku, Kyoto; General Manager: Miwa Sakurai) will sequentially begin offering two new types of rooms, 'Kyo Premium Executive Double' and 'Kyo Premium Double,' starting May 1, 2026 (Fri), as part of its renovation based on the concept of 'Inheritance and Creation.' Ahead of the launch, the hotel has released photos of these newly designed rooms. Additionally, new experiences will begin in May, including 'Original Bookmark' gifts for guests staying in the new rooms and the monthly jazz live event 'KYOTO CENTURY JAZZ LIVE' under the hotel's iconic 'Kanjin no Kyo-akari' lantern.

[New Room Introduction] Launching May 1 The two new room types in the popular 'Kyo Premium' series focus on the comfort of 'Yuka-za' (floor-sitting culture), a symbol of Japanese culture where guests can relax without shoes.

- Kyo Premium Executive Double (7th Floor, 38sqm, 4 rooms total) Designed for ultimate relaxation, this executive room features an L-shaped sofa and solid wood flooring with traditional 'Naguri' texture. It evokes the tranquility of a traditional Kyoto machiya house. Guests can also enjoy a premium skincare set from 'Moon Pearl.' - Washroom: Equipped with a double basin for two guests to use simultaneously. - Skincare Set: Exclusive set for Suites and Executive Double rooms (Cleansing, Foam, Lotion, Cream).

- Kyo Premium Double (7th Floor, 30sqm, 12 rooms total) A double bed room joins the standard Kyo Premium line. It features a raised seating area with domestic natural wood and tatami, blending traditional comfort with modern design. The 230cm wide bed ensures a restful sleep.
